This is the top-selling baby swing of all time, the reviews online are extensive, but is all that good feedback true?

We purchased this baby swing to give it a try, we tested it and here is what we really thought of it.

Many parents love this swing for many different reasons.

First of all, the swing looks good, so it will fit into any room without fail.

It’s narrow and more compact than others out there, so is better for small spaces than many others.

The unit is operated by a panel at the top, which means you do not have to break your back bending over to get it working.

Just underneath the operating panel, we have three soft toys that move with the sway of the swing, the baby we tested this on loved them.

The seated area is a little hard to touch, however, it has a padded overlay that makes it more comfortable. The test we did ended with our baby falling to sleep, so it must be comfortable for babies to use. Our baby was not even tired, so it worked.

The head support is there, but is most definitely not the best out there, but perfectly suitable for smaller babies to use.

The 5 point harness keeps baby secure, it has 16 music plays built-in, which our baby found very entertaining indeed.

The big selling points of this one is this:

  • The seat can be reclined into different positions
  • The swing can be set to operate at different angles
  • The swing can be plugged into the wall

Some baby swings just swing back and forth.

This one gives a good choice to either swing side to side or back and forth. This is a big selling point and why it has been the most popular baby swing of all time.

Do we recommend this baby swing? Yes, it is well made and has everything you could need in a baby swing.

Top tip: keep an eye on your baby in the swing at all times using a long range baby monitor with cameras.

#2 Graco Abbington Simple Sway Swing

The Baby Swings that are mostly bought in the market

This is another very high highly rated and very popular baby swing.

These two sings leave people in debate as to which one to buy.

We have used them both now and know exactly which one we preferred, and most importantly which one the baby liked the most.

The small starting point is price, they differ slightly in cost with this one being slightly less expensive, but there isn’t a lot in it.

The good news is that they are both around $100 mark. This one too operates by a panel at the top and has three soft toys swinging above the baby’s head.

The neutral colors of both swings means they can be used for boys and girls without any problems at all.

This one takes up a little more floor space, but it’s not a huge difference and is no reason not to purchase this one over any other.

The big purchasing point for this swing is the nice deep seat, the baby we tested it on absolutely loved it.

This one has been noted to be just perfect for babies that suffer from colic, the built-in music, and deep seat helps them calm down and drift off the sleep.

The head support is quite thick and makes it useable for newborns and smaller babies.

The fabric on both swings can be removed and is machine washable, which saves a lot of hassle too.

We also have a guide that reveals the best baby car seat too.

On reflection of our baby swing reviews we have decided that the best buy is the Fisher Price Sweet Snugapuppy Swing, our baby preferred this unit.

This is basically down to the fact that it can be reclined and also swings in different directions, this ensures all babies will be happy using it. Some babies only like to move in one direction, so this makes it our overall winner and best buy.
