What is the Best Baby Swing?
Price: the Graco Slim Spaces Compact Baby Swing is very affordable around $50. The Fisher Price Sweet Snugapuppy Dreams Cradle’n Swing is more expensive and is always over $150.
Both of the top swings are very good but for different reasons, the one you buy will depend on what features are most important to you.
#1 Fisher Price Sweet Snugapuppy Dreams Cradle’n Swing
First of all, the swing can be used by a newborn baby starting at 5.5 pounds in weight. It can take a heavy baby weighing up to 25 pounds.
What makes this swing stand out? Well many buy this swing over the others because it can swing in 2 motions.
Most swing either swing back and forth or side to side, this one can operate in both directions, your baby will probably prefer one over the other.
Many swing seating positions can’t be adjusted, the baby has to sit in one position and that’s that. This swing can be adjusted into 2 different seating positions, which is great if you have a fussy baby, and many do.
The sounds and music option isn’t really important on any swing because you can always play baby songs from your phone. This swing does have 16 sounds built in anyway.
The swing can move at 6 different set speeds, our test baby absolutely loved the fastest option, of course all little ones will be different, which is why it’s important to have 6 different settings for speed.
One of the big needs when choosing a baby swing is comfort. The padding on this swing is very good, some swings are pretty hard, this one is not. All materials can be removed and is machine washable.
This is the best selling baby swing for a reason, it’s very well priced and offers just everything you need. The simple function makes this a winner, buy this one over the others every time.

#2 Graco Slim Spaces Compact Baby Swing- Linus/Etcher
Why would you buy this swing? It is a lot cheaper than the others on the market and is a big space saver, it folds down with ease too.
Not many swings are adjustable in height, this one is, it’s important to save a parents back without having to bend down too far.
It’s also noted to be the best swing for babies that suffer from colic, we can vouch for that based on our extensive tests.
This is a very basic swing, easy to put up and take down, doesn’t offer as much as the others do but does give the essentials.
The swing is compact so not only space saving for around the home but is also easy for taking away with you travelling.
The swing only goes in one direction, back and forth, but that’s down to the design being foldable, you can’t have everything in one swing unfortunately.
There are a few toys that swing over the baby’s head, our test baby didn’t pay much attention to them so are a waste of space really from our point of view.
Because it’s a low cost swing it does not vibrate, it is battery operated only so could get quite expensive to run over time.
