Swings for babies these days have many modes and functions, they play songs, vibrate and even move in all sorts of directions. Some swings even mimic car rides and are just perfect for babies that suffer from colic. These can be a real lifesaver for many parents.

Even if you have a small living space there is a perfect swing for you, some take up a lot of space, others can be squeezed into a small area. To save money you can go for a rocker and swing combo, they are incredibly useful when you need somewhere to pop baby while you get your housework done.

Indoor Baby Swing Reviews

The deciding factor when choosing an indoor swing will more than likely come down to cost.

Our top two swings vary a little in price. The swings vary between $50 and $150. The more you pay the more features you gain.

This baby swing is medium-sized, takes up little room and comes highly rated by many parents and us too.

Many baby swings tend to make a lot of noise while working, this one is in the mid-range for noise levels and is considered not too annoying while in motion.

You can plug this swing into the mains to power it up, it can also be powered by batteries. It’s good to have a choice, battery only swings can be very costly to run. The big turn on for parents with this swing is that it has a huge bucket-style seat, many babies feel really comfortable in this type of seat.

The seat includes a toy bar, the toys on the bar rotate when the machine is switched into the on position.

Some swings go back and forth and some side to side, this one goes side to side only. The motion feels like being hugged and moved in your parent’s arms, babies really take to this.

The swing motion can be set to 6 different speeds, it also has two different vibration modes to pick from.

It had 15 built-in songs, the good thing is that it also plays white noise, so your baby can really be soothed by hearing noises like they would in the womb. The covers can be removed and put into the washing machine for easy cleaning.

Top Tip: always keep an eye on your baby in the swing using a long range baby monitor.

Again, this is a mid-size baby swing that does not take up a lot of floor space in the home.

If you are looking for the best baby cribs we have a review guide for that too.

The working noise levels are low and are not annoying at all. This is very important.

If you are looking for simplicity then this is definitely the right choice for you. The swing is powered by a plugin, thus saving lots of money than having to purchase batteries over and over again.

It can be powered by batteries should you choose to move it outdoors, it is very easy to pick up and move around.

The seat itself can be adjusted into two different positions, which is very useful in finding a comfortable position for your baby to sleep in. Many swings either move back and forth or side to side only, this one does both.

The seat can be moved at six different speeds and it has 16 inbuilt sounds to choose from.

Just like many other baby swings the fabric can be removed and is machine washable.

There is no real head support, so is not really the ideal choice for newborn babies. There is no vibration setting either, which is why it is just in our number 2 spot and not our top choice.

We don’t consider it to be the best indoor baby swing for that reason, although it is very good for other reasons like the many different swing settings.
